Beatrice Egli performs exclusively at Sony Music HQ in Berlin
On March 5th, Beatrice Egli brought spring to Berlin and transformed the cafeteria of the Sony Music Headquarters into a concert hall with her energetic sounds. As part of the “Sony Music Sounds Better With…” showcase, the artist was given an exclusive stage and represented the Schlager genre for the first time.
The evening was opened by Markus Hartmann, Vice President of Ariola, the label which Beatrice Egli is signed to: “Beatrice is the biggest artist from Switzerland and one of the biggest Schlager artists in the German-speaking area. We are therefore very happy and grateful to have her with us tonight.”
In addition to Sony Music employees, the audience consisted of numerous press representatives, partners, creators and six lucky fans who were able to win tickets as part of a competition organized by Beatrice and “Mein Herz Schlägt Schlager”. During her performance, Beatrice not only wowed the audience with hits such as “Balance” and “Du, Du, Du”, but above all with her positive attitude and charisma.
The artist also took the opportunity to once again express appreciation for her label Ariola: “It is with great pleasure that I stand here today and would like to thank you all for your support. We have worked on my music together in intense times and it fills me emotionally to hear the result out there.” Just last Friday (March 1st), the artist released her album “Alles in Balance – Leise” – a special edition of her No. 1 hit album “Balance” including eleven bonus tracks.
The “Sony Music Sounds Better With…” showcase was launched around two years ago with the aim of offering Sony Music artists an exclusive stage. After Tokio Hotel, ELIF and a BRIT POP evening with Henry Moodie, Venbee and Tom Gregory, among others, Beatrice Egli is now the latest addition to the line-up.
