Columbia Records hosts exclusive launch party for Beyoncé’s “COWBOY CARTER”
In celebration of Beyoncé’s latest album, “COWBOY CARTER” (released on March 29th), Columbia Records hosted an exclusive launch party last Thursday at the “CLUB COWBOY.” The album, firmly rooted in the country genre, reached number one of the German charts within a week of its release.
For the occasion, Columbia Records transformed the previously undisclosed venue, the Western town of ‘El Dorado’ in Templin, into an extravagant setting. The 400 invited guests adhered to the dress code of “Cowboy Glam,” donning glamorous Western attire. Among the attendees were fans, creators, media partners, and employees of Sony Music Entertainment.
The program promised an authentic cowboy ranch experience with horses, bull riding, and line dance performances, complemented by authentic food and drinks. The evening revolved around the album “COWBOY CARTER,” which was played and celebrated through the whole evening.
The “CLUB COWBOY” events have been held in various cities worldwide. In recent weeks, launch parties have already taken place in cities such as Paris, Sydney, São Paulo, and London, generating overwhelming response. Brazil saw over 35,000 fan registrations, making headlines in media outlets like Billboard Brazil and Popline. The event series continues today (April 15th) in Milan, followed by Auckland on April 18th and Bangkok on April 21st.
In 2022, a legendary release party was held for Beyoncé’s previous album, “RENAISSANCE” which was documented in an aftermovie. The aftermovie for “CLUB COWBOY” is expected to be released at the end of April.
