AC/DC announce “Power Up” European tour for 2024
AC/DC are preparing for their first European tour in eight years. This marks their long-awaited stage comeback after their performance at the hard rock festival “Power Trip” in Indio, California, last year.
The tour includes 21 shows in 10 countries and starts on May 17th with two gigs at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. This will be followed by gigs in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland, before two shows at Wembley Stadium in London on July 3 and 7.
AC/DC consists of singer Brian Johnson, guitarist Angus Young, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction), who replaces long-time bassist Cliff Williams. Singer Johnson returns after sitting out the 2016 tour due to hearing problems and was replaced by Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses for 22 shows.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 16, between 9am and 10am local time. Further information on booking tickets can be viewed here.
