Gossip is back

Gossip returns with their album “Real Power” after 11 years. The new album was produced by acclaimed producer Rick Rubin, who previously produced the band’s seminal 2009 album “Music For Men“. “Real Power” will be released on March 22nd 2024 via Columbia Records.

The first single ‘Crazy Again‘ was released on November 17th 2023 and is a track that captures the energy of deep connection and joy. “The song is about being in love and feeling safe,” says frontwoman Beth Ditto. The music video for ‘Crazy Again’ shows Gossip once again in collaboration with director Ssion (Perfume Genius, King Princess).

Gossip consists of singer Beth Ditto, guitarist Nathan “Brace Paine” Howdeshell and drummer Hannah Blilie. The trio have brought queer politics into the spotlight with their heady mix of soulful swagger, stand for body positivity and have steadfastly refused to be pigeonholed or ignored. Their studio album “Standing In The Way Of Control” (2006) reached #1 in the UK indie charts (Gold) and solidified the band as a dynamic force in the music scene.
