Grammys 2025: Beyoncé Makes Award History

On February 2, 2025, the 67th Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles, celebrating the achievements of various Sony Music artists. Beyoncé entered the evening as the most-nominated artist and made Grammy history with multiple wins. She became the first Black artist to win the award for “Best Country Album” and secured “Album of the Year”, one of the night’s most prestigious categories, for the first time in her career. Both awards honored her 2024 album “COWBOY CARTER”. With these wins, Beyoncé now holds a record-breaking 35 Grammy Awards.

SZA won “Best R&B Song” for ‘Saturn‘, while Chris Brown took home “Best R&B Album” for “11:11 (Deluxe)”. Hans Zimmer was awarded a Grammy for “Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media” for his work on “Dune: Part Two”.

Other winners this year included Shakira (“Best Latin Pop Album” – “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran”), Tems (“Best African Music Performance” – ‘Love Me JeJe‘), and Lucky Daye (“Best Traditional R&B Performance” – ‘That’s You‘).

Sony Music congratulates all the winners!
