Sony Music enters the Israeli market

Sony Music Entertainment and the ONEWAY. Records have formed a joint venture to gain a foothold in Israel and discover and promote Israeli artists with global appeal. The new joint venture will focus exclusively on English-language repertoire artists:in from Israel.

ONEWAY. Records is a label founded by Josh and Sam Fluxgold, who bring relevant experience in the Israeli market through collaborations with Israeli artists such as Dennis Lloyd.

“Josh and Sam really understand the global nature of our business. The pool of talent that they are drawing from might be Israel but the market that we are looking at together is the world,” said Daniel Lieberberg, president Sony Music Entertainment Continental Europe and Africa in a recent interview with Variety.

In the construct, Israeli artists can benefit from Sony Music’s global reach and extensive experience to internationalize their careers.
